Halee Morgan Mickey, 15, entered this world October 27, 1995, and left us to be with her Lord and Savior on February 21, 2011. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Dianne Mickey and Lori Hevey. She is survived by her mother and father, Teresa and Chris Mickey; two elder sisters, Rachel and Heather Mickey; her nephew, Kaleb Shearer; her grandmother and two grandfathers, Sylvia and Harold Rager and Tom Mickey; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and loyal friends. Halee was born and raised in Middleburg, Florida. She was a freshman at Middleburg High School and had hopes of becoming a neonatal nurse.
Halee was a beautiful spark of joy from the moment she entered our lives. She had a personality like no other. She was strong-willed and had a confidence that couldn’t be shaken. She had a kind and soft heart, and found joy in helping others. She was much loved and will be fiercely missed by all those who knew her and loved her.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church, 1532 Long Bay Rd, Middleburg, with Pastor Ken Pledger officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the church. Interment will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Rd. Middleburg, Fl. 32068.
