His enthusiasm for sports extended beyond the field as he dedicated countless hours coaching football and baseball for his children’s teams, leaving a lasting impact on the young lives he guided.
Jack was a skilled journeyman electrician whose work ethic and craftsmanship earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Known for his athleticism and strength, he approached every task—whether on the job, on the field, or at home—with determination and pride.

Jack is survived by his two sons, James Lloyd Newton and Zack Taylor Newton; brother, Gene Lanier Newton Jr.; and sister, Martha Newton Killimade.
He will be remembered as a man who gave more than he took, who worked tirelessly, and who loved deeply.
