Becky & Dottie
Sorry to hear of your loss. Hope to be able to contact you as I have been researching the Carter Family that settled in Cayuga County NY. We are related back to John Carter. He is your great-grandfather and my 2nd great-grandfather.
God be with you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear about your father's passing. He often came over to my parent's (Max and Marge Coggeshall) in the 70's. He was always so nice and my parent's enjoyed his company and playing cards with him. Later, when I moved back to Auburn in 1987 I would see him around town and it was such a pleasure to have a little conversation with him. I remember him in all the parades, and I have the utmost respect for his military service, especially now that I am older! He truly was part of the 'Greatest Generation' and we all owe him and others like him so much!

Becky and Dottie, we are so sorry to read of your loss. You know how much we loved and respected your grandmother. She told me once that the happiest day of her life was the day your father was born. I hope that they are together now in a beautiful and peaceful place. Please know that our thoughts are with you. With sincere sympathy,

Becky - There are no words for this. Believe me, I've tried. I even wrote a whole book about it and still...there are no words. Know that we love you and we're here.
