  Well good morning dad I just wanted to write this. Well it's October already the weather is changing and getting cooler out. It was 44 out yesterday morning when I went to work at 5 in the morning. It will be snowing before long   I know how much you hated the cold and snow that why you loved being in Florida. I was so hurt when you and mom decided to move there with chet, but I knew it was the best decision you guys made for your health. I understood why but it still hurt.                                                   Remember when we would go camping and make apple pies and everyone in camp ground wanted some? That was the best thing ever.  I miss those days of doing that. I wished I had one more day to do that again.                                      You have told me so many times to slow down working, but I take after you. You showed me how to work hard for what I want. So that's what I do.   You will be in my heart forever and I will talk to you ever day. It will be different but I will.     Fly high with those eagle's the thing you loved. I will do what I can for everyone in the family.   Until we meet again. Be prepared to work hard when I see you again dad.     Your pain free. Rest in peace I love you and miss you DAD   I LOVE YOU

Hey Grandpa,
It has been hard not having you here on earth. Some days are better than others, and some days I just cry at the thought of you being in heaven. I really miss you here on earth. I am thankful for everything you have ever taught me. You taught me how to be a woman and how to respect everyone and everything around me. I will thank you every day for the sacrifices you have done for our family. 
I will miss you forever. 
Until I hug you again. 
PS can't wait for you to greet me at the gates of heaven when it's my turn to be called home.

   It has been a long and sad month since you passed and I miss you so much that it hurts. I get up for work in the morning and look for your door to open and for you to say good morning. The weekends are the hardest as every where I look I see something that we started and never had the time to finish. 
   What I would give to have just one more day with you to go fishing or work around the house. It is so hard to have to be the strong one and keep a upbeat attitude around everyone when all I want to do is crawl in a hole and cry, I know that that is not what you would want so I go on the best I can.
   I will do the very best I can to take care of our family. Mom will be taken care of for as long as I breath air on this earth. I will try to keep up with Betty and the Grandkids, I was not ready to have to do this and I know I have very big shoes to fill as you meant so much to so many.  
  I will never say goodbye as I know you will watch over me and guide me through the difficult time ahead. I will keep you in my heart forever.
   I love you and miss you until we meet again may you rest in peace and my peace be with you.

   My grandpa was a great man, He was always so full of love, laughter, and life. He was the type of man who would give you the shirt off his own back if you didn't have one. He always put others first especially when it came to family. Grandpa loved to be outside, it didn't matter what he was doing; working in the garage, planting flowers, or sitting in his favorite chair waving to every person that went by. Grandpa always put family first and when my mom was in labor he dropped his whole life to move to Iowa to be with my mom and I. Later, 3 years to be exact even tho she looks older I know I get it all the time, my sister was born and he was always around while we were growing up. He gave so much of his time to my sister and I that he was like a father to us especially since our father was absent since we were a few years old. Grandpa was there for my children as well. When my first child was born he was so excited he went out and bought everything for that little boy! He was so happy to be a great grandpa and he attached to my kids quickly as they brought out the youth in him. My favorite memories of grandpa is how he would eat his dinner. Every time he ate he would end up with at least 2 little spots of food on his shirt. If you let him know he had something on him or joked about him being a dirty pig (as my kids often would) his reply was always "I'm saving some for later"....as our time has come to an end to spend time with you grandpa the only thing I can think of is how I wish I could save some of your hugs for later. I know you are looking down on my sister and I now and I hope you are proud of the women we have became because everything we are today is because of you, grandma and mom. You may have been taken from me physically but you will always be alive in our hearts because we will love you until our last breath just as you did us. I love you grandpa, save  me a spot next to you in heaven!!

Love you Dad. I keep waiting for a call and a voice message saying "just wanted to see how you are I guess your at work" 
I miss you so much it still hurts a lot.

Jim was a very dedicated hardworking man. That devoted his time to his friends and family because in return he expected the same. I'm so glad I got to meet Jim through his granddaughter Debbie, I can see the values of Jim instilled in her and I'm truly blessed to have her by my side. We will all miss him but we will remember what he instilled in us.

I would give anything to hold you one more time and tell you how much I love you.

It is so hard for me to go on but thankfully we have a wonderful son and daughter for support.

I can't seem to get my mind clear to think of all the things we did together but we had a good marriage.  We had our good times and bad times but the good times let me forget the bad times because we always came out ahead.  

Death doesn't change everything.  Time changes nothing.  I still miss the sound of your voice, the wisdom in your advice, the stories of our life and just being in your presence.  So, no, time changes nothing.   I miss you more today than the day you died.  I just miss you so much.

We had 54 years, 3 months and 10 days of good life.  We had great times together and I am going to miss your smiling face and everything that you did for me.  You were a great husband and father and will remain in my heart till we meet again.

I am not going to say goodbye but just see you in the next life.

May you rest in peace until we meet again.  I love you and will miss you forever.

DAD,
  I can't believe that it has been a month already since Chet called me with the news that you passed away. I didn't want to believe it cause I just put you on the plane to go back home. It wasn't even 24 hours since I saw you. I'm so glad we had the whole  month of August together. I loved that you and MOM came and spent the time with me. I just don't under stand why you left me. We had a lot of things yet to do. It has been a hard month for me. I cry every day cause I miss you so much. You were there for me for 51 years and now your gone. I know in my heart your with me and watching over me all the time. You taught me to work hard for what I wanted and I do. You taught me to help people that needed help. You would do anything for anyone. But if they pissed you off watch out. 
   I remember when I had my first child you drove 6 hours to get there and I was having problems and you wanted to pick me up and take me to a different hospital. You were there when I had my second child and she was a lot easier to have. You was there for both Pam and Debbie all the time no matter what.  You were their world. They learned a lot from you. You watched the girls grow into great kids . You watched them graduate and become beautiful young girls. You were there when  Pam had her 3 kids, Debbie and Loren buy there first house. I know you will be there for everyone of us and guide us thru what ever we need.  You are alive in our hearts.
  I could write and write and write on this cause there is so much to say.  You remember the time we went deep sea fishing? You caught a weird fish and was so excited. Then I caught a stingray, and I couldn't even get it on the boat. Then when we went out on the ocean and sunk half of Chet's pontoon. You lost your cane and we lost other stuff. You use your cane to grab our stuff as went by the stuff.Remembering it now it was funny but me and the girls thought we were going to sink. I was so scared. 
    You are getting all caught up with everything with your Mom and Dad and your 3 brothers now. You are pain free and can do anything you want to do.  I miss you so so much Dad. Until me meet again. Rest in peace Dad.

I know in my heart you will guide me thru the hard stuff and help me get thru it.  You would do anything for anyone. You were there for your great grandkids and watched them grow. 
  There was so much more we needed to do together but that will have to wait until we meet again. I know your pain free now. You can walk all the time without your legs hurting you. Go win all those races up in heaven.  You have no worry's about anything now. I have cried the whole time I have wrote this. My heart will always have a special place in it for you. I'm totally heart broken over the loss of my uncle Jim he meant the world to me. Auntie Margaret you and uncle Jim filled a place in my heart that was empty when my parents passed you guys are my second parents and I love you both with all my heart and soul. You need me for anything call me day or night I'm gonna keep my phone with me day and night so call no matter the time. I wished I was with you right now but my heart will always be with you. I miss and love you very much. I know that you will be looking over me as you always have. You were the 1 man I knew I could count on! You would give anyone anything even if it meant you going without. You would have given the shirt off your back to someone you didn't even know if it was something that person needed. You were always smiling and joking around. I will miss you sooo much and my heart will hurt for years to come for now I have lost the "father" who raised me into the woman I am today. I only knew you for about a year and half but you always treated with kindness and respect. Always willing to help out with whatever you could. You will be missed by your family and everyone that was around you. Rest in peace.

A man of few words but still knew how to make a statement.... That's what I remember about Jim. Prayers for your family.... May God hold you and comfort you at this time. There is now an angel of few words who will watch over this family and be proud of them as time goes on. The legacy continues to live on in each of you...

You took me in like one of your own grandchildren. So many trips down to see you guys with Debbie and delicious dinners.  I heard the news and couldn't believe it. I love you all so much, thinking of you always!
