JC Young Jr., age 85, of OBrien, Florida passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023. He was born in Denton County, Texas to the late John Cecil and Margaret Young.

JC served his country proudly in the US Navy before becoming a police officer at the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office where he took early retirement to start Young’s Tractor Service and Young Home Builders. To say that he lived a full life would be an understatement. Aerobatics pilot, scuba diver, competitive skydiver and Harley rider were just a few of his many extreme adventures.

Mr. Young is survived by his son, Byron (Sara) Young; daughter, Victoria (Curtis) Davis; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. There were no words left unspoken between JC and his friends and family. We should all hope to be so lucky.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on August 25th at HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL with military honors. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.hollyhillfunerals.com.
