John H Duck, 80, passed away July 21, 2018. He was born September 12, 1937 in Pine Mountain Valley, GA. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Audrey H Duck; 2 daughters, Salli (James) Reinhart and Dr. Lori (Steven) Overstreet; brother, Lewis (Edna) Duck; and 4 grandchildren, Kristyn and John Cadwell II, Kathryn and Kendyl Nealey. Mr. Duck proudly served in the US Navy for 21 years and received various awards for outstanding conduct and service. Thereafter, he served his community as a sergeant at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office for five years. Subsequently, he worked civil service at NAS Jacksonville as a program analyst. His combined service for the federal government totaled over 55 years. Most importantly, Mr. Duck was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and was known to be the foundation of a strong and devoted family.
