John William Taylor, age 72, passed away April 1, 2014. He was born in Malden, Missouri and had moved to Clay County in 1985. He served in the US Navy, worked for the Honeywell Corp. and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles-American Legion. Survivors include his wife of 32 years Ida G. Taylor, daughter Maria Magdalena Burns (Cliff); brother Mike Lightfoot (Mary); sister Jean Garza (Ignacio) and best friends Rosie and Roxy, his dogs. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Rd. Middleburg, FL 32068. (904) 282-9336.
