After graduating from Levelland High School, Katrina went on to attend Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She met Marvin in Dallas, and they were married in April of 1982. They say that being a Navy Wife is the toughest job in the Navy, but Katrina learned fast. They moved numerous times, and she quickly became a pro at keeping the home front in order.
Trina had a diverse range of interests including steampunk style, fantasy, and horror genres; as well as every form of art imaginable, gardening, DIY projects, and taking care of her "fur babies". Woodworking, painting, jewelry making, sewing, furniture remodeling, and crocheting only scratch the surface of her talents. If she didn't already know how to do something, she was determined to teach herself! Trina gave birth to her only child; Hillary, on March 5, 1992 in Jacksonville, Fl. Within Hillary she found more than just a mother-daughter bond, but a "mini-me" in which to share her passions with. Together they would share a love for fashion, art, haunted houses, going absolutely OVER THE TOP for every single holiday, and just being plain old goofy together. Katrina would never miss a cheerleading practice, competition, class outing, birthday party, or special occasion, and she was often in charge of class art projects throughout Hillary's school career.
Katrina is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Marvin Warren; devoted daughter, Hillary Warren; Mother, Eve Nichols; Sister/Husband, Glynda and Bonner Markham; Niece, Amber (Neil) Eddins; Nephew, Chip Markham; and a host of grand nephews and nieces. She was Preceded in death by her dad, Glyn Williams; Step-Dad, Jess Nichols; and her Grandparents, Ed and Addis Williams; and Sam and Mae Smith.
Katrina left us much too soon, and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to meet her.
