Kay Brantley Moseley, 84, of Fleming Island, Florida, entered into eternal rest on June 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on July 18, 1940, in Metter, Georgia, to the late Woodrow and Dollie Brantley, Kay lived a life defined by her creativity as a seamstress, unwavering devotion to her family, and a heart full of compassion.
A loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, Kay was the cherished wife of Billy Irvin Moseley for 59 wonderful years. Together, they built a life of love, laughter, and enduring partnership. Kay was a devoted homemaker who poured her heart into caring for their daughter, Deborah Kay Matlack (David), creating a warm and nurturing home where love always came first.
Family was everything to Kay. Her siblings—James Brantley (Allette), Janelle Thompson (George), Brenda Cannon (Ellis), and Stanley Brantley (Sandy)—meant the world to her, and she remained close to them throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved sister Sue Nelson, brother-in-law J.B. Nelson, and brother M.L. Brantley (Debra), whose memories she held close to her heart.
Kay will be deeply missed by a host of loving family members and friends who will forever cherish her kindness, her gentle spirit, and the many ways she touched their lives.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kay's memory may be made to Alzheimer's or Diabetes research.
Her legacy of love, faith, and family will live on in all who knew her. Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace in knowing that Kay has entered into her eternal rest, and we are grateful for the precious time we shared.
