Koriana Justene Spaulding, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and cherished member of her family, entered eternal rest on November 17, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida. Born on August 3, 1994, in Gainesville, Florida, to John and Rebecca Taylor, Koriana’s life was a reflection of love, strength, and devotion. Her gentle heart, warm spirit, and unwavering loyalty touched everyone who knew her.
Koriana was full of life—feisty, intuitive, and endlessly supportive. She was the steady center of her family, offering wisdom, comfort, and a joyful spark wherever she went. As an “all-knowing mom,” she guided her children and loved ones with a rare tenderness and insight.
Family was her greatest passion. She poured herself into motherhood, finding purpose in every moment shared with her children. Her humor, resourcefulness, and uplifting presence made her a source of light and strength to many.
Faith grounded her deeply. Her relationship with God shaped her character and the grace with which she moved through life.
Creativity and curiosity filled her days. She loved crafting, sewing, reading, photography, and proudly embraced her title as the family’s “Amazon Queen.” She treasured flowers, gardening, and preserving memories that will live on through the generations.
Nature brought her peace—family trips to the zoo, days at the beach collecting shells, and the beauty of God’s creations in waterfalls, lakes, and the whisper of the wind. Music was woven throughout her life, bringing joy to quiet and busy moments alike.
Koriana is survived by her devoted husband of nearly ten years, Aaron Taylor Spaulding, and their children: sons Elijah, Asher (AJ), Clayton, and Colton, and daughters Ellie-Ann and Aubri-Lyn. She also leaves behind her parents, Rebecca Lee (Nugent) and John J. Taylor; her brother, Joseph Taylor, and his wife, Martina; her sister, Brittany Latham, and her husband, Jamie; and her nephew, Carver. She will also be remembered by her second parents, Brett and Rosemarie Misenar; second grandparents, George and Rosemary Camacho; her mother-in-law, Donna Thornburg; father-in-law, Randy Spaulding; brothers-in-law, Chad Spaulding and Chris Bray; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and close friends.
Her legacy is one of love—steadfast, bright, and enduring. She will forever be remembered for her laughter, her strength, and the beautiful light she brought into the world.
A Graveside Service honoring Koriana’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Memorial Park, Middleburg, Florida.
