Leigh was born in Falkirk, Scotland and immigrated to the USA at a young age. She was a very intelligent and caring Registered Nurse. She spent her life working in service of others. During the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic she volunteered to take travel assignments to New York City at the epicenter of the crisis. She was known to volunteer to work on holidays and cook for coworkers while others could spend time with their families. Those who knew her knew that her three great loves were her beloved dogs, being a nurse and all things related to Scotland.
Leigh is predeceased by her parents David and Alison Millar and her nephew Jacob Berglund. Along with her family of dogs over the years, Bear, Biskit, Thor, and Xerxes.
She is survived by her sister Anne (Mark) Berglund, her nieces Alison and Gracie Berglund, a great niece and nephew Sadie and Grayson, Aunt Aileen Brown and numerous cousins.
