Linda Whitley Honeycutt

Linda W Honeycutt, age 79, of Fleming Island, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 11:11pm surrounded by her family. She was born in Columbus, GA to the late, Edward and Burdella Supan Whitley. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Masters Degree in Business Administration, and was formerly a Corporate Payroll Manager, Instructor at St. John’s Community College and Craft Store owner.

Her hobbies included: Painting, Ceramics, Sewing, Traveling, Writing, Jewelry and Figurine collecting.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Linda was predeceased by her brother Ray and his wife Melba Whitley, brother Donnie and his wife Ronda Whitley, sister Vickie Masi, nephew Jerry Whitley and her beloved pet Munchie.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Samuel R. Honeycutt; daughters: Teresa (Drew) Chase and Stefanie Conway; brothers: James T Whitley and Gary (Angela) Whitley; sisters: Brenda (Johnny) Sizemore, Karen "Kay" (Nelson) Pizarro and Regina "Ginger" (Mark) Torbett; brother-in-law, Vince Masi; former son-in-law, Louis Taber; grandchildren: Casey Twisdale, Emily Taber, Elizabeth Honeycutt, Brandon Peck and Raven Peck; great-grandchildren: Camden Twisdale and Sarah Norman;

Caregivers and Special friends: Sara Crosby, Donna Johnson, Robyn Calvosa , Margarita Herrera and Alexandria Santana; also survived by 16 nieces and nephews and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 21, 2023, Holly Hill Memorial Park 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068.
