Margaret was born March 26, 1939 in Edzel Scotland where she grew up loving music and was known to win several dance contests in the area. She was a member in the Royal Navy, the oldest of the United Kingdom’s armed services, where she met and married her husband, Kenneth Ray Eaton. Margaret, Ken, and their two children, Kenneth and Pam, lived in nearly every corner of the world with Ken’s United States Naval deployments and, no matter where they called home, Margaret would immediately have both a multitude of friends and a job helping people. Margaret was known for her gracious spirit, unwavering fortitude, and quick British wit.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Ken, and survived by her son and daughter in law Kenneth Ray Eaton (Isabelle Eaton) of Ohio, her daughter, Pamela Christison Eaton Hallenbeck of Florida, brother John Stone of Scotland, her beloved grandchildren Andrew S. Hallenbeck (Florida), Liana C. Hallenbeck Montoya (Nelson Montoya) of Colorado, Catherine Annabelle Eaton (Ohio), her precious great grandchildren Chase, Nolan, and Camryn Montoya (Colorado), and her dearest companions, her dogs Oreo, Bear, Loki, Thor,and Kwazy.
Family welcome friends to join them from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL. A private burial will take place at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
