Margarette Candio

Margarette Candio, also known as Maggie, passed away while sleeping on Sunday, April 27, 2025 in Jacksonville, FL surrounded by love. She was born on July 20, 1967 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She was raised by Dieubon and Terese Candio. She grew up with a big family as the oldest of 8 with 5 sisters & 2 brothers. Margarette created a big family of her own with 3 daughters & 3 sons. Margarette was an exceptional woman who lived an extraordinary life. She served in the community in many different roles primarily in the Healthcare industry.

Margarette dedicated her life to make a difference for her children & be an example to her siblings. She worked hard to provide a firm foundation. She overcame many challenges. She learned to use humor & her singing voice to bring peace, love, & safety to those around her. She was compassionate & feisty. She walked with grace & confidence. She loved God & maintained a Godly foundation. Her absence will be greatly missed & she will always be in our hearts.

Margarette was preceded in death by her mother, Terese Candio, and son, Thony Roy.

Margarette leaves to cherish her memory with her parents, Dieubon (Adrienne) Candio; her loving children, Jeannie (Terrance) Fisher, Ricardo (Devona) Augustin, Stanley Candio, Thanya Roy & Vanessa Roy; her amazing 11 grandchildren, Sariah, Jalin, Amari, LaSasha, Courtney Jr., Terrance Jr., Zariya, Israel, Brooklyn, Trinity, & Alijah; her supportive siblings, Mirma (Gandy), Jacky, Nirva, Emmanuelle, Gaetjens, Jean-Thomas (Guetty), & Ruth; and a very large group of extended family.

Our hearts are heavy with this tremendous loss. She is a pioneer in the eyes of her children. Her love and humor was contagious. Margarette touch many lives from family, friends, co-workers, church members and all.

May we all find rest in knowing she is in the arms of the Lord!

Funeral Services will be held Saturday May 10, 2025 at First United Pentecostal Church of Jacksonville, 11697 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221.
