Gale is survived by her husband of 30 years, Frank Laidler; son, B.J. Williams (Jackie); daughters, Ruby Jones (Brian) and Jaime Shugart (Christopher); father, Oliver Hickox; sister, Windlyon Matthews; brother, Daniel Hickox; 7 grandchildren, Rebecca, Kayla, Erika, Cody, Dyle, Brittiany and Stephanie; and 2 great grandchildren, Malachi and Westin. Gale enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grand and great grandchildren, watching her favorite reality shows, going to the salon, reading her bible, and going to church. A funeral service will be held 12 PM Friday, January 15, 2016 at Chaffee Road Church of Christ, 1340 Chaffee Road Jacksonville, FL 32221 and interment to follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Road Middleburg, FL. 32068.
