Marvin Leroy Richardson, 86 of Middleburg, FL passed away peacefully on August 3, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born January 31, 1938 in Ashland, Wisconsin to the late, Hazel Marie (Roettger) and Willard Kenneth Richardson. Marvin spent some time in the Minnesota Army National Guard. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for the best years of his life. In his free time enjoyed bowling, woodworking, fresh water fishing, and playing horseshoes. He retired from Potlatch as a maintenance painter. He instilled in his family the love and forgiveness of God.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, his younger brother Willard E. Richardson, and his great-granddaughter Abigail Homstad.
Marvin is survived by his loving and devoted wife Verna Kathleen (Liupakka) Richardson, daughter Annette Nynas (Tim), Roxanne Paulson (Duane), Reena Wagenaar (Richard), sisters; Carolyn Babb and Anne Hilinski, five grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and 2 great - great grandchildren.
A celebration of Life will be held August 12, 2024 at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 1532 Long Bay Road, Middleburg, Fl 32068. Pastor Ken Pledger officiating. Visitation to be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am August 12, 2024.
Internment to take place at Holly Hill Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, Florida, 32068 following completion of services.
