Mary Jane Altman, 70, passed away on September 21, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Mary was a kind, loving, and beautiful soul who touched the lives of so many. She found joy in the simple things in life like sewing, crafting, spending time with her family, enjoying a good nap, and, of course, a delicious plate of fried chicken.
Mary was predeceased by her parents: Buddy and Mary Brown; and three brothers: Guy, William and David.
She is survived by her loving husband, Paul W. Altman; children: Wayne (Ronda), Alan, Allen (Rosa), Chris (Jessica), Anthony (Theresa), Angel ( Chris) and Gina (Robert); 23 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren; sisters: Linda (James), Brenda (Carl), Sherry (Wade) and Mary Margaret; brother, Steve (Daun); and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL with visitation held 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
Immediately following services, the family will have a reception and receive guests at Sniktaw Farm, 2579 Russell Road, Green Cove Springs, Florida 32043.
