Merrill Robert West, 68, passed away on December 8, 2016. He was born in Jacksonville, FL, served his country in the US Air Force and employed at Damon Well Drilling. Survivors include his daughter, Ashley M. West; 3 brothers: Broward Lee, Ronnie D. and Vernon Miles West; and 2 sisters: Janice Louise and Glenda Irene; and 2 grandchildren: Merilyn Burris and Christopher Burris Jr., who he spent a lot of time teaching and enjoying every chance he had. Inurnment with military honors will be held 11 AM, Friday, December 30, 2016 at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, FL with Brother Charlie Hunt officiating.
