Mildred Reedy Finley, age 90 of Orange Park,Fl. Mildred passed away peacefully on January 4,2018 at Life Care Center on Kingsley Ave. Mildred was born in Konnarock, Virginia on July 14,1927 to Issac Reedy and Nancy Blevins. Mildred spent her younger life in Virginia where she met a handsome Army soldier named Edward Finley. They were married in 1944 and had seven beautiful children. Edward and Mildred were married until his death in 2004. Mildred worked for Smyth County Hospital in Marion, Va as a LPN. Mildred is proceeded in death by her husband Edward, son Jackie, son Roger, son Richard, daughter Kay Criss, and son in law Randy Bray, Mildred is survived by her son Jerry (Linda), daughter Sue Bray, daughter in law Jackie, grandchildren Michael, Brian, Malissa Sands (Eric), Terry, Richard, Timothy, Sesley, Vanessa Stein (Daniel), Aaron Howell, Shannon Head (Jamie), Mandy Goode (TJ) and 14 great grandchildren. Mildred liked to play bingo and eat lunch with her friends at Life Care. Mildred was a avid dog lover. Mildred (Granny) was loved by all of her family and friends. Mildred’s Memorial will be on January 13, 2018 at 1 pm at Lake Asbury Community Center.
