Phyllis June Wright, 83, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Granite City, Illinois on June 5, 1936. She graduated with her High School diploma from Logan High School, and went on to have a career working for the U.S. Government. Phyllis devoted her life to Christ and she loved her family, friends, and the state of Virginia. Phyllis is very dearly loved by her family and friends, and she will be missed greatly.
Phyllis leaves behind her daughters, Debbie L. Wright, Linda S. Edens, Billie J. Johnson, Crystal E. Bates, and Courtney L. Mason, her son, Michael L. Wright, her brothers, Tom Baldwin, Jim Baldwin, and Randy Baldwin, and her sister, Joyce Harriman. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda Dollar, Zach Edens, Tommy Lynn, Logan Johnson, Ashleigh Johnson, and Brandon Johnson, and her great-grandchild, Christian Mason. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Billy Wayne Wright.
A Visitation will be held at 10:00am, followed by the Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 11:00am, on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218. Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068.
