Raymond (Pete) Eugene Lee, age 79, Fleming Island, FL went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2021. He was born to Forrest (Jack) and Daisy Lee on November 11, 1941 in Fairview, AL. Raymond worked at Armour Foods as a foreman and sales person for 20 years. He had a second career as a sales manager for car dealerships in Tallahassee and Jacksonville, FL. Raymond retired in 2004 and was a full time boating and Sea-Doo enthusiast, enjoying trips with the boating crew. He had a love of cars, racing enduro bikes, and NASCAR. Raymond also enjoyed the symphony and theatre. He was an active and long standing member of First Baptist Orange Park for over 30 years. For nearly 2 years following hurricane Katrina, Raymond volunteered as a member of The Florida Baptist Disaster Relief team.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bobby Forrest Lee who is survived by his sons Tony and Steven Lee. Raymond is survived by wife Marsha Napier Lee; daughters Angela (Kevin) Jackson, Terri (Eden) Coles, Jennifer (Keith) Braun, Deanna (Justin) Pagan; his three grandchildren Justin Coles, Caitlin Jackson, and Benjamin Braun; brother-in-law Larry (Danvis) Napier; sister-in-law Linda (Joe) Prescott; and many loving nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The family will receive family and friends from 11:00am until 12:00pm on Saturday October 23, 2021 at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068. The celebration of life will follow at 12:00pm with Stanley Puckett officiating. Flowers are appreciated in remembrance of him, or donations to First Baptist Orange Park or Samaritans Purse.
