

Born on January 21, 1981, in Jacksonville, Florida, Ronald was the son of Ronald and Jane Russ. He served proudly in the United States Navy, and after his service, he attended Everglades University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Alternative & Renewable Energy Management.
Ronald had a gift for conversation and could make a stranger feel like a lifelong friend. He was known for his kindness, gentle spirit, and genuine love of people. Meeting Ronald often meant gaining a friend for life.
After high school, Ronald enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2001 and served aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Following his military service, he pursued many passions, including riding his motorcycle and enjoying life with his beloved wife always by his side.
Ronald met Nicole in January 2013 in Tampa, Florida, and the two were married on December 19, 2015. In addition to being a proud veteran, Ronald became a Mason and remained an active member of the Christiana Lodge in Christiana, Pennsylvania, honoring his grandfather's legacy as a Mason.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Nicole Russ; his parents, Ronald and Jane Russ; his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Jason Childers; his grandmother, Georgiana Russ; as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter in Ronald’s honor, as he had a deep love for animals.
