Janie and Larry, my memories is with all of you. Remember the Halloween part? I still have those pictures. Larry remember all the football practice? Shane was one of my kids. He and Jeremy loved fooling the teachers because they looked so much alike. Lake Asbury was some of my happiest times, Shane and you made that possible. . I think of all of you a lot, I am so sorry for your loss, just know I love you ALL and miss you all especially Shane and Jeremy and Jeremy “the twins”.love you, Shirley

Shane was a great guy ..
He was a hell of a ball player... he was one league above me out at omega park we used to watch his games before ours on Saturdays he loved to play football...
I had not seen him in years when we happened to run into each other on a remodle job. He had a happy "how the hell are ya" for me. We chatted for several days got together and hung out with Alan Rawls at his house with some other friends, a bond fire and some beers it was like a good ohl LA shin dig from back in the day lol....

....
🛐RIP🛐... brother
you will be missed by many.

Tina and Chris Mercer

April 11, 2018

My husband Chris Mercer knew Shane since the 3rd grade and I think it was about the same for me. My maiden name in school was Tina Puhl (also called Krissy(:) . Shane was a all American high schoool sweetheart heartthrob, ask any girl and they would agree especially Lisa who loved Shane so much. He was so popular but it never got to his head, he was very down to earth. He was a friend to anyone that wanted one amd you could count on him. Chris said the last time he had seen Shane was 7 years ago and for me it was longer than that, but thats the thing you never stop beong friends or caring for those you grew up with. I can see his face and that smile just like it was yesterday. Shane was loved by so many of us and will be missed. Heaven gained a precious angel and the. Earth has surely lost one. My condolences to his family, you are in my prayers.💔🙏

To Shane's family - I am so sorry to hear of Shane's passing and want to share my condolences for someone lost way too young. I used to clean house for Janie back when I was in High School. I would occasionally babysit for Shane too when he was a rambunctious youngster. Even though I didn't know him in his older years, it sounds like he grew up to be a fine young man.

My heart is broken remembering the handsome young boy who was my neighbor as well as my son Jason’s best friend.I remember the times he was at my house or the times I drove him and Jason to St. Augustine beach or the times he spent at my house waiting for Janie, his mom to come home. I did not see Shane after he moved away but I know the world is a sadder place without him. Janie and Larry remember some day you will see him in Heaven.
