Sherry was a shining light in our lives—a woman whose love, warmth, and laughter created a legacy that will live on forever in our hearts. She was the cornerstone of our family, a devoted wife to Randy who not only loved him deeply but took the utmost care of him every day of their life together. Their love was a testament to partnership and not giving up. We know her absence is felt profoundly by her best friend and soulmate, Randy.
Sherry had a remarkable gift for making people feel special, seen, and loved. Family was everything to her, and she went above and beyond to create moments of joy and connection for every member. She found pure joy in celebrating milestones. Whether it was a child’s, grandchild’s, or even a great-grandchild’s birthday, Sherry made sure no one was ever forgotten. Individual birthday parties were her signature touch, turning nearly every other weekend into a celebration of life, love, and laughter. Her knack for making everyone feel unique and cherished is something we will all carry in our hearts.
The holidays, especially Christmas, brought out the best in Sherry. Her love for baking filled her home with the sweet aroma of cinnamon rolls, banana bread, and homemade pies and cakes. She had a way of turning the ordinary into extraordinary, filling each gathering with her special magic, love, and attention to detail that made the holidays oh-so-special.
Sherry’s laugh and sense of humor were unforgettable. She had a playful, feisty side too, often giving Randy a good-natured hard time—especially when it came to those dreaded chickens and roosters of his! She loved life’s simple joys: enjoying girls’ nights with her daughters, sitting by the ocean during beach visits, and spending endless hours in the joy-filled chaos of game nights and family movie marathons. And though she appreciated a good Diet Pepsi—a full case a day to be exact!—and a spotless clean home, nothing compared to the time she spent with her grandbabies and her great-grandbaby. Watching her with them was like watching pure love in action.
While Sherry may not have been the most tech-savvy person (and boy, did we all tease her about it!), her love never needed words on a screen to be felt. It radiated from her texts (or attempt to text!), hugs, and moments shared. She loved completely and wholeheartedly, and her family was truly her world.
Sherry was strong and fiercely loyal, a woman of deep passion and love who showed us all the importance of cherishing the little moments. Her life was a vivid reminder that happiness is found in the people we love, the memories we make, and the laughter we share. Her legacy lives on through each of us—in the cinnamon rolls we’ll bake in her honor, the birthday celebrations we’ll continue with her in our hearts, and the way we’ll ring in each holiday season with gratitude for everything she gave us.
Sherry loved the Lord and we take comfort in knowing that she is now in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ. While our hearts ache from her absence here on Earth, we rejoice in the truth that her pain is gone, and she has been made whole in heaven. She is with her Creator, surrounded by perfect peace and love, basking in the eternal joy of His presence. Though we miss her dearly, we find solace in the promise that this is not goodbye forever. She is waiting for us, watching over us, and one day, we will be reunited with her in the glory of heaven. Until then, we trust in God’s plan and cling to the beautiful hope of eternity together. Sherry’s faith is the biggest piece of her legacy, reminding us to live in love and to have faith that His grace will carry us through.
To Sherry’s friends and family, though we grieve deeply, let us also celebrate the joy of having loved and been loved by someone so wonderful, strong and so full of life. Sherry has left her footprints on our hearts, and she will forever be a part of all of us. May we honor her by embracing her legacy: love deeply, laugh often, have faith and never forget to hold family close. Thank you, Sherry, for the countless gifts you shared with all of us. We’ll love you forever! Until we see you again...
