Terence “Terry” Brady, 80, passed away June 18, 2017. Born February 4, 1937 in Gardner, MA, he was a long-time resident of Orange Park. Terry was a 21-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, during which time he was deployed to the Antarctic for Operation Deep Freeze. While living in Orange Park, he and Tina discovered a passion for sailing. Terry was an active member of the St. Johns River sailing and racing community. Terry enjoyed his sailing adventures with family and friends throughout the Bahamas and parts of the Caribbean. His is survived by his loving wife, Tina Brady, daughters Dawn Brady, Robin Brady and Ginger Edwards, sister Helen Hindinger, grandson Ryan Hunt, son-in-law Marc Edwards, sister-in-law Caroline DiNatale, and 10 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Ave Orange park, FL 32073 at 2 pm on Friday, June 23, 2017. The service will be followed by military honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in his memory to either The Wounded Warrior Project or K9s for Warriors.
