Thomas Anthony Schwartz, a beloved and cherished individual, passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on October 11, 1954, in New York, New York, Thomas was known for being adventurous, compassionate, hard-working, humorous, loyal, patient, resilient, selfless, and wise.
Thomas spent over 35 years working for the Civil Service as an Aircraft Engine Examiner, retiring from NAS Jax. His dedication and commitment to his work were evident throughout his long and distinguished career.
Married to his loving and devoted bride, Eleanor (LaRosa), 25 years ago, Thomas embarked on a life adventure filled with love and companionship. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olive G (Boyd) and Peter Schwartz, his daughter Pamela Schwartz, and his sister Cathy Schwartz. He is survived by his wife Eleanor, daughter Angela Schwartz, siblings Peter Schwartz (Elaine) and Donna Schwartz, six granddaughters, nephews, and many lifelong friends.
An avid outdoorsman, Thomas enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling in his RV, always cherishing time spent with family and friends. He had a special love for animals, particularly his two puppy dogs. Known for being the funny and life of the party. HE presence brightened the lives of those around him.
A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
