Mommy you will always have my heart❤ You are the most special bravest honest loving woman i have ever known! To have been your daughter has been such a joy for me I will always be forever grateful you were my mother. God could not have given me a more sweeter and precious one as you! I love and miss you so very much but i know your in the home you have always deserved to be in now. I think of you every single day. Not a single day goes by that your sweet spirit i feel! And i SO cherish you and the memories i have of you of being your daughter they will forever be with me. Your gone now from me only for a little while though, till we meet again on that beautiful heavenly shore. Lord willing we will walk or maybe even run on the sandy beaches of PURE heaven delight with our Heavenly King of Kings ! ;;-)) I love you Mom, your daughter Cindy!

Some of my fondest memories were made on the many road trips Carol and I took to Tennessee and Florida. Over the years, her family has become my family. I have had the honor of attending weddings as well as saying goodbye to loved ones who were leaving this life and stepping into eternal life with our loving Heavenly Father. Sometimes our trips were planned and sometimes they were on the fly and we just hit the road! They were by far my favorite trips! And it never mattered when we showed up, we were always welcomed with love and laughter!

I'm not sure when it happened, but there came a time when I stopped calling Carol's Mom, Jenny and started calling her Momma, too!!! You see, my own sweet mama had passed away 10 years before and when Momma Jenny would greet me with a hug, it was with the warm embrace of a mother that my daughter's heart was needing! I called her Momma and she called me Pinny Girl!

Our visits always ended with taking Momma to Cracker Barrel for breakfast before heading out and every time we hugged goodbye, she would whisper in my ear, "Take good care of my girl" and I would say, "I always do!".

Momma...I know you're in Heaven living the life you were always meant to live! I am so thankful and blessed to have known you and love you! I choose to use love in the present term as your spirit will always be alive in my heart and memories! I promised you then and I promise you now...I will always take care of your girl!

Your momma was the sweetest woman. I know you miss her terribly, but I also believe she lives within each of you.  Honor her by living life to the fullest!  Love and hugs to you from Ohio.

My Gramma will be greatly missed. She is the one I would call every week to complain about everyone else. She always listened and would say something like "oh I am sure so and so didnt mean any harm". She never asked for anything nor complained about anything. She was the only women I have ever been closed to. She was like a mother to me. I would snuggle right in between her and my grandpa, and looked forward to every summer when I lived with them. Those are the best memories of my life. We would go down to Winn Dixie and do errands everyday. I would talk her into stopping and letting me get a snack (a soda and a chocolate bar for a dollar) everyday. Then at home we would watch The Stories, mainly Guiding Light then she would start dinner, She made delicious dinners for us all with Love. When I think of My Grandmother these are the type of memories I have. Every year Grandpa would take her to Jai Alai for her birthday and while they where gone I would bake a cake, put up some balloons and make everyone hide and yell surprise! She knew it was coming but would still act suprised...She was sweet and kind and will be greatly missed.

I love you grandma Jenny! I miss you so much!

I can't believe you are really gone. I know you are happy now that disease not messing with your mind. I will forever miss you and love you. Love you

I regret that we weren't able to spend more time with family as we got older, but I am grateful for the times we had with Grandma as kids. 

I have a lot of good memories: Grandpa stealing her glasses at restaurant meals because he couldn't see the menu; Grandma staying with us after Matthew was born and building blanket forts with Eddie and me in the living room; watching Grandma and the aunts play cards when we'd stay with them in Starke and Grandma sitting on the tall stool in the kitchen to peel potatoes. We loved playing in the yard and chasing the chickens and eating her fudge! We had so much fun the Easter we spent with them in Palm Bay when we dyed eggs and then hid them on the beach and the Christmas when they waited till we arrived to pick out a tree and all we could find was a crazy tree, but we made it beautiful! 

I remember all the laughing and arguing and eating and how lively they house was when everyone would visit! 

I'm thankful for the memories and the love! She was a special person and she will be missed.

Thank you for all the years you were my 2nd mom. I will miss your smile and little Debbie cakes. Will always hold your recipe for pot roast near to my heart/belly. Love you and miss you

Momma- its been almost a month now since you left us to go home...and I still can't believe you are really gone! 

I want to pick up the phone and hear your voice.  I want to get a birthday card from you in a few weeks, as I have every year since I was little. I want you to hear you call me "Alvin Hawkins" and see you roll your eyes when I say or do something just like him! I want to taste your homemade fudge and your fried chicken and I want to smell your turkey and dressing cooking in the kitchen! Instead, I wake up every morning since you left and I feel numb and wish I could go back to sleep and wake up from this horrible dream.

I miss you terribly and I continue to seek answers from God as to why things had to end the way they did.  I can only pray that time will heal my pain and that peace and forgiveness will come to my heart!

I am thankful that you were my Mom and I love you for the things you taught me about being a mother to my own children.

My prayer is that your spirit will remain very much alive when I look in the mirror and see your reflection in my own eyes, when I see my sisters, my aunts and my own precious children.

Give Daddy, Sara and Gerald Ray a hug for me...I love you!

I am so sorry for the loss of your mom,grandmother,great-grandmother. I remember as a young girl going to your house and I always felt at home! Jenny always welcomed me with open arms! Your home was always filled with love, and that love has been passed down through all the generations. Though this is a very difficult time in your lives, keep close to your heart all the wonderful memories you have had with her. You all were blessed to have her In your life. Now she is in Heaven surrounded by those that went before her. May God continue to Bless all of you.

We are going to miss you. I know your in a better place up there in heaven with Uncle Alvin.

Even through I never had the pleasure to meet Virginia...I am certain I have seen her strength, love, kindness and heart for our Lord Jesus Christ through the eyes of her daughter Carol.  
These are all beautiful traits that will mold and shape future generations.  What a legacy she's left in the world through her children, grandchildren and their children.

My condolences to the family.

I just wanted to extend my deepest sympathies to all of you. I only had the pleasure of meeting your mom a few times, and not under the best circumstances. But she made me feel welcomed and treated me with her warmth and kindness! Her sense of humor and her teasing made me feel like a part of her family. 
While sitting at the funeral, it struck me that even through the sorrow and heartache, her legacy was sitting all around me! Her sisters, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends, that is her greatest gift, that part of her will continue on through you all!  She will be missed but she's in good hands!

You will be missed by your family and friends. We never had the privilege of meeting you,Ginny, but our families were joined through our children and grandchildren and therefore, we too were family.
Our love, thoughts and prayers are with all of the family during this sorrowful time; but, we also know  you are in loving arms and at peace.

When I think of my Aunt Jenny, I am automatically reminded of love, Mother adored her as did I.  Aunt Odell and Aunt Jenny were so close I can't even begin to describe how close.   As an Aunt she was Cool, I always loved the way she could walk outside and start up a conversation with us and have us totally engaged.  She had her own style, her long beautiful black hair, little to no makeup just natural beauty, simple jewelry nothing ever flashy.  I never heard of Aunt Jenny saying a harsh word against anyone.   Aunt Jenny was meek, modest, loving, kind, and sweet.  I know Aunt Jenny was smart but she was not ever a show off accept when it came to talking about her children; then it was well deserved.  I appreciate that Aunt Jenny was there for our family and even offered to come and stay with my parents when they were so very sick.  She was a sweetheart.  I have always loved her but even more for that.  I am so sorry for your loss my dear cousins she was a Great Woman.  I will always hold a place in my heart for my Aunt Jenny and know that no matter the miles between us I will be here for you too.
