Our sincere sympathy to the Steverson family. Mrs. Steverson was a wonderful teacher, always so encouraging. She taught our daughter over 25 years ago. A few months ago she was cleaning out some things in her house and came upon a card from our daughter, Casey. I couldn't believe she took the time to call and tell us how much she enjoyed teaching Casey and getting to know our family. Such a sweet, appreciative lady who was a positive influence on many young lives and beemed with pride when she talked about her own family.

When Ann came to IBC, I knew we'd found a jewell! We quickly fell in love with her. Sadly, we didn't have enough time with her on this earth, but we look forward to seeing her again one day. Until then, we miss you so much, Ann! Belinda and all your Sunday School class girls

I was one of her students..... she was the best teacher.... She said something to me that she wished she had a popcorn poper that was used over the fire . Well I told my dad Daniel (Dan) Carriker and we found one at an auction and got it.... I came to school the next day and gave it to her..... She had the biggest smile on her face...... and gave me a big hug ..... So sorry for y’alls loss .

I am a registered nurse who had the privilege of caring for Mrs. Steverson after she was discharged from the hospital. Although brief, the time I spent with her and her daughters were special. Mrs. Steverson had a sweet spirit about her that was infectious. The love shared in this family was evident and while she will be missed by all who had the pleasure of getting to know her, she is dancing in the streets of gold with her savior. She expressed her love of the Lord and made it clear that when HE called her home, she was ready. To the family, may you all find peace in knowing she suffers no more. God Bless you all and thanks again for allowing me to get to know her❤️

So sorry to hear about Ann. She was a dear neighbor, friend and babysitter. We loved both Ann & Warren, they were special people. We regret that we can not attend the service but our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Mrs. Steverson was my first-grade teacher in 1966. She was a fine example of patience, caring, and love for all her students. Even as a 6-year-old I noticed her refined manner and lady-like way, and I wanted to be just like her. She was well respected by my whole family. My husband did some work in their home, and became fast friends with her and Mr. Steverson.
As a mother myself, it would make me feel so good when she always asked about all the details of my children's lives.
We will truly miss her, but our lives are better for her sweet influence.

Dear Beth, Lynn and Joan,
Your Mother and Dad were two of our favorites and we shared so many wonderful memories over many years. I am truly sorry for your loss. The love in your family was so genuine. Your Mom was so good about calling us on special occasions. That will certainly be missed. It's good to know that she is in Heaven and reuniting with so many that she loved and those that loved her. God bless all of you as you go through this most difficult time. Love, Uncle Rock (Aunt Betty, too)

Mrs. Steverson was my first grade teacher at Bain Elementary. Actually, she was my favorite teacher at Bain. Such a sweet, caring woman - I loved first grade! I got to know her better later on in my life because my mom did her hair. It was such a joy to see her in my mom's chair! She was always smiling! I will be praying for her family and loved ones. This Godly woman will surely be missed.
