Bernice Taylor Houser

Bernice Taylor Houser, age 95, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022. Bernice was born July 12, 1926 in Bessemer City, North Carolina. Her husband, Harold Houser, predeceased her in 1989. Bernice worked at American Cyanamid for 26 years from where she retired. Bernice enjoyed working in her garden, taking photos, loved going to the beach, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Barry (Eve) Houser, Danny Green, Michael Green and Lanny (Tonya) Green, 5 grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a sister, Doris (Coy) Shue. Family and friends are invited to view Bernice on Monday, January 24th, 2022 from 11:30 am to 12:30pm at McEwen Funeral Service Mint Hill Chapel 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Rd Mint Hill, NC 28227. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm at Sharon Memorial Park 5401 Monroe Road Charlotte, NC.
