Bill Hahn Hatley Jr

The memorial service officiated by Rev. Ben Wilson, Rev. Jim Yow and Gary Moran will be at Central United Methodist Church, Saturday, December 12 at

11:00am. Following the service, he will be entombed in The Stanly Gardens of Memory Mausoleum and the Hatley family will host a celebration of his life at

Market Street Station in Albemarle.

Born April 21, 1951 in Stanly County he was a son of the late Bill Hahn and Ann Haire Hatley.

Surviving are his wife, Reva Kay Russell Hatley of the home, 2 sons, Graham Hatley and wife Ericka of Albemarle and Neil Hatley and wife Lauren of Wesley Chapel.

Dr. Hatley graduated in 1969 from Albemarle High School. He received his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts Degree in zoology at NC State University in 1973

and his Doctor of Dental Surgery at UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 1977. Following his graduation, he associated with Dr. Maurice Richardson and in

November 1979 Dr. Hatley opened his own practice at 319 N. Second Street in Albemarle until he retired in October 2014 due to declining health.

He was a member of Central United Methodist Church, NC Dental Society and The American Dental Association.

Dr. Hatley was active and devoted to the Albemarle Downtown Development.
