She was a graduate of Independence High School, a National Honor Student, and currently a sophomore at University of Chapel Hill. Carol Lynn was a seasonal shift manager at Bojangles where she started the Giving Tree program for Levine Children's Hospital. It was in her nature to always be of service to others and give back to her community through charitable events. She loved being outdoors, all kinds of animals - especially her cat Simon, and being surrounded by the ones she loved.
She is survived by her parents, Jervey and Stephanie Hill; brother, Trey Hill and numerous family members and friends.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, January 8, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church, 7841 Idlewild Road, Charlotte, NC 28212. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church with a reception to follow.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Humane Society of Charlotte.
