David Cochran was a beloved father, husband, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, cousin and friend to all who knew him. He loved to spend his time gardening, caring for his beautifully manicured lawn, hunting, fishing or crabbing in his boat, The Bearded Clam, and was always outside. Of all the plants he grew in his garden, he was famous for growing delicious cucumbers and tomatoes.
David was born and raised in South Plainfield, New Jersey, and moved to North Carolina in 2007. In his younger years, he loved to fix up cars, go racecar driving, ski, and bowl. He also drove a motorcycle, played basketball, played baseball and loved animals including the wide variety of animals he had growing up.
As he enters into eternal rest, David leaves behind two sons, David J. Cochran (35), Baldeo Tulsi (34); daughter, Cassondra Cochran (15); wife, Carol Cochran; sister, Susan Pilla; niece, Heidi Pilla; nephew, Jordan Pilla; daughter-in-law, Isabella Alonso; and his grandchildren, Arleth Alonso (14) and Michael Tulsi (5), who he loved to call "Moo Moo."
As he leaves this world, David will forever be remembered in our hearts.
