Donald "Kendall" Welsh Jr.

Kendall, of Monroe, NC, passed away early Saturday morning, March 15, 2014, surrounded by his loving and supportive family and friends. He was 49 years old.

Services are private.

Born October 25, 1964 in South Korea, Kendall was a son of the late Donald Kendall Welsh, Sr., and Virginia Lea Heirich Welsh. He was a graduate of East Mecklenburg High School, Class of 1983, and worked with Tweeter and Freeman Car Stereos. Kendall enjoyed electronics and cooking, and loved being around his family and friends. He also enjoyed jazz music, attending car shows and festivals of any kind.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Welsh; his siblings, Carol Collins and husband, James, of Charlotte, Janet Conrad and husband, Dave, of Natick, MA, and Charles Welsh of Castle Rock, CO; his niece and nephew, Vicky and Tommy; and his best friend, Henry Cooper and wife, Angela, of Monroe.
