Doris A. "Maw Maw" Price

Born January 15, 1929 in Charlotte, NC, Mrs. Price was a homemaker, and had a passion for life, gardening, flowers and her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Max Price, to whom she married February 14, 1948; and two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda P Ford; two sons, Johnny Ray Price (Melody) and Danny Eric Price (Robin); six grandchildren, Jason Ford (Amy), Cari Mull (Michael), Matthews Price (Vikki), Amanda Price, Brittany Price and Cody Price (Kim Williams); and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Matthews. The Rev. Neil Licklighter will officiate.

The family would like to thank all of the dedicated and compassionate doctors and nurses at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center, Fifth Floor, for their loving care and support.
