Eric Matthew Stroupe

Eric Matthew Stroupe of Mint Hill North Carolina passed away June 23rd, 2018. He was born July 4th, 1982 in Charlotte, North Carolina; graduating from Independence High School and receiving a degree in Electrical Engineering from Central Piedmont Community College. Eric had a career in the medical services industry working for his family's company, Imaging Systems of the Carolinas and Amramps. He proudly earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 65 in Mint Hill.

Eric had a remarkable impact on every life he touched. His compassion for others knew no bounds and he would always put the needs of his family and friends before his own. He was a true Carolina boy through and through and loved his Carolina Panthers. His loss is profound to the lives he touched and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his father, Loy Stroupe; brother, Daniel Stroupe; and aunt, Teresa Cook (Steven).

Eric is preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Garcia Stroupe.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel on Thursday June 28 at 4:00 p.m. with food and fellowship to follow at Jimmie’s Restaurant.
