Mrs. Lawson, age 79, of Calabash, died April 5, 2018. Born May 12, 1938 in Chester, SC, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Nora Husky Ferguson. Mrs. Lawson was former manager of Sunset Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 10th at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel. The service to celebrate the life of Frances Ferguson Lawson will immediately follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
Survivors include husband, Gerald; sons, Tommy Brimhall and Kenny Brimhall; granddaughter, Morgan Brimhall; brother, Richard Ferguson; and sisters, Sue Teasley and Jean Wood. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lawson was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Ferguson and Kenneth Ferguson and a sister, Louise Ferguson Matthews.
