I worked my first job at the Harris Teeter store on The Plaza & Milton road. The year was 1986. Bill was the greatest boss anyone could have. I enjoyed his humor,positive personality,and guidance. I learned a lot from him. I know he is missed by many. I am sorry to have heard the bad news so many months later. May God bless his family and friends.

Mr. Bill was the man. He called me "Skillz". He taught me historic songs about Daniel Boone.  He had a great sense of humor.

So So sorry to here about Bill! We will miss the smell of his camp fire he always, had one going at night fall. We will miss him rocking on his porch! A Great Neighbor!

Bill was my manager at Harris Teeter in 1987. He was a good dude, a respected manager and we had a lot of laughs. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Bill was my store manager and he was a fantastic boss and good friend. He will be missed by all at store 473.

Billy was a close friend and brother in law to my best friend, Lisa Hale whose heart is breaking along with Shelby, Lindsey, Matt, Billy's wife, parents and siblings. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Billy.  Billy and I were close friends while growing up in Florence in the 1970s. Through social media, we stayed in contact with each other, talking football and other topics. Prayers to family and friends through these difficult times.
