Hey brother, I’m glad I had my entire my life up until recently to have you in my life. I grew up with you. If I ever had to explain to someone who you and Kelli were to me I would simply say, they are my family. You have and always will be my big brother along with Blaine. I love you and your mom as much as any human could love another person. I have so many questions and things to tell you but it’s okay if I have to wait a while to tell you. We can finally play legos and video games together without you being worried I’ll break them. And I can’t wait for that day to see you, see that big grin on your face, and hear you say so happily “Hey Em!” And get an always present bear hug from you. I can say certainly that you loved everyone so ferociously that they will never forget it or the memories they have with you, including me. God I miss you so much brother. I’ll never forget how lucky I was to know you and be loved by you.
Till we meet again big brother, I love you.
Always, Em

It feels like it was not so long ago that we would spend all of our summer days off together. Endless hours of swimming, street hockey, Call of Duty, Sly Cooper and Star Wars. It is impossible to not think about all of the wonderful memories we made together, brother. But on a cloudy day like today, I am thinking of what a time it would be to go rip some lips off the shoreline. No one could have had a better best friend, brother and fellow service member.

Till the end of the line.

Jacob, I am sitting here in disbelief, still. You will be greatly missed by everyone. We loved your funny, silly, crazy ways and my family had many laughs and great times with you and shall cherish them forever. I remember being glad I wasn't with you when I heard the story about Wendy, Marisa, Chase and you at the Walmart and you and Chase fighting with long rugs and anything else you could find! How you guys didn't get kicked out I do not know! I remember on 4th of July you came in my door wearing your red, white, and blue flag suit, just grinning. You had such a big heart and would do anything for anybody and your humor was just out of this world! You were so proud of your country too and showed it. Seeing you in your Marine uniform that night picking up Marisa to take to the prom, well, you wore it proudly. You are with God now, in His loving arms but you will never, ever be forgotten. You left us too soon.
Much love, Doris Shellingburg
