John Francis McGovern III

John graduated from Manasquan High School and also received a Bachelor of Science from Murray State University.

John married Victoria Wiercioch McGovern on June 1st of 1968.

John had a career in logistics of moving and warehousing freight. Through the years he worked with the following companies: Tarcon, ABC Trans National Transport, Multiservice, West Transco, DMSI, USATab, Guignard Freightline, and Mid-South Sales.

He had passion for golf and a member at Carolina Golf, Crystal Springs, Cedarwood also Olde Sycamore Golf Clubs.

John was preceded in death by his Father John Francis McGovern Jr. and his Mother Mary O’Neill McGovern.

He is survived by his wife Victoria Weircioch of 46 years. His son John McGovern IV with his wife Mica Massey, grandson John Michael and granddaughter Elizabeth Grace, Johns’ daughter Michelle McGovern Schuler with husband John Schuler with three grandsons Will, Jack and Charlie. Brother Michael McGovern of Bricktown, New Jersey and Sister Victoria Wellington, also of Bricktown, New Jersey.

The family will have a Memorial Mass at St Luke’s Church, 13700 Lawyers Road Mint Hill 28227 Saturday August 9, 2014 at 12:00 pm noon. The family will have a gathering of family and friends following the service.
