John graduated from East Mecklenburg High School, served in the US Navy, and earned an associates degree from Central Piedmont Community College. John retired from AT&T after 30 years of service. His work ethic brought him back to work for BRG/Atrium Health, which he retired from in January 2022 after 20 years.
John enjoyed woodworking and creating and building projects. He could build anything and fix anything. He always shared his talents with family and friends building and fixing anything they needed help with. He loved watching Clemson football and tailgating. He was an avid NASCAR fan and camped with friends and family on the infield for over 35 years. He loved spending time with his family, from cookouts to beach trips.
John is survived by his wife of forty two years, Kay Snider; his son, Terry Crowe (Michele); his grandchildren, Kaleb Crowe (Marissa) and Rylie Crowe (Alex); his mother, Lea Etta Snider; his sisters, Phyllis Daugherty (John) and Donna Porter (Derwin); and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
