She was married to Donald L. Cook Sr. on December 28, 1955. Kathy worked as a pediatric nurse for over 30 years. She had a passion for gardening, reading, and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Donald L. Cook Jr.; daughter, Barbara C. Kirchner; grandchildren ; Donald “Clay” Cook III, Katherine E. Cook, and Henry G. Kirchner IV.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 11am, Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Plantation Estates, 733 Plantation Estates Dr. Matthews, NC. 28105.
A burial will follow the service in the Grove Hill Cemetery in Darlington SC.
