He is survived by his daughter, Sherrill Deese of Glen St. Mary, GA, and his son, Brian Swanson and wife, Courtney, of Matthews, NC, and two grandsons, Jeremy Deese and Matt Swanson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 3:00pm at McEwen Funeral Services-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Charlotte, NC, 28277. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
