Margaret Elizabeth Glasscock Coffey

Margaret worked in the school system and was a well known waitress at the Seafarer Restaurant in Charlotte. She loved painting ceramics, doing crafts and flowers/plants.

Margaret was preceded in death by her father, Haskell Villa Lasley; mother, Margie Estell (Wooten) Glasscock; and her brothers, James David Glasscock Jr. and Timothy Ray Glasscock.

She is survived by her children, Ronald and Tracy Coffey of Pensacola, Florida, Casey and Sissy (Coffey) Greene of Stanley, North Carolina, David and Rebecca Coffey of Charlotte, North Carolina and Donnie and Sherry Coffey of Columbia, South Carolina. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Morgan, Brooke, Michael, Cody, Rachel, Victoria and David Jr.; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Friends and family will be meeting for visitation at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel from 2:30 pm until 4:00 pm Sunday, May 23, 2021, with her funeral service to follow at 4:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. She will be laid to rest at 10:00 am Monday, May 24, 2021, in Sunset Memory Gardens.
