Mary Ann Messenger, 93, of Midland, North Carolina passed away after a brief illness on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Novant Matthews Medical Center.
Mrs. Messenger was born May 14, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late, Thomas E. and Catherine Surrat Kissinger. She served in the United States Army and was a retired musician.
The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
