Mary Ashley Baucom

She was born on March 27, 1940 in Waxhaw, NC to the late Robert Lee and Maryann Ashley.

Mrs. Baucom is survived by her husband of 59 years, Donald E. Baucom; children, Denise Elaine Ingram (Rick), Pamela Elizabeth Baucom and Bryan Michael Baucom; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Baucom and her special friend, Jason; one grandchild; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Ezmer Hunter (Buddy) and Dezmer Snipes; brother, Terry Ashley (Barbara) and two close family friends, Rosemary Kent and Debbie Yearwood.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sons, Donald E. Baucom, Jr. and David Wayne Baucom.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 17th of January, 2017 at The Lake Community Church, 7800 Bringle Ferry Road, Salisbury, NC 28146 with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Services will be officiated by Pastor Ronnie Pinyan and Pastor David Jones.

A memorial service will be held at the family’s home at a later date.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Lake Community Church or to Wyatt Grove Baptist Church.
