Mary Gwaltney Hodges Stroud 97 of Charlotte NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 29, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 26, 1920 in Surrey County,VA. To the late Taylor and Gay Gwaltney.
She is survived by her 9 children, Bill Hodges (Brenda), Geri Meacham (Joe Johnson), Walt Stroud (Toni) of Raleigh, NC, Millie Ayala of VA, Cliff Hodges (Lorraine), Bernice Huneycutt (Tony), Steve Stroud, Mary Masalosalo, Jeannie Pigg (Wayne Nash) of Charlotte NC., 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227 with visitation following the service.
