Mrs. Sue was the sweetest angel who took care of our oldest at the daycare at HGBC. We are so grateful for her ever loving care. They still spoke each Christmas and he received his last hug from her this past Christmas, 2018. With love, The Cooler Family.

While I was at Hickory Grove, Sue was always so special to me. She was always so happy and joyful. I am sure she will be singing in the heavenly choir after she lines them up to march in to sing. Mrs. Sue, I will be glad to see you again just inside the Eastern Gate.
Much love,
Ruth

I loved Miss Sue. She would always stop at my desk and talk to me when she pushed the babies down the hall. A sweet lady who will be greatly missed.

While I was pianist at Hickory Grove Baptist, Sue was "mother" to me, the orchestra, the choir, and everyone else in the music department. She always had a happy face and a cheerful heart. I have to imagine that she is in heaven, lining up the heavenly choir so that it will look and sound it's best. I will miss you are a little while Sue, and if you have a chance, when I arrive, meet me just inside the middle eastern gate and show me around. Love you !

Miss Sue will be missed by more people than she ever realized she impacted by her Godly example of Jesus's love for us.
She always made me feel special and loved at every choir rehearsal and service I attended all those years at HGBC.
Her beautiful light still shines in my mind and heart and Heaven gained a very special Angel. Rest in peace Miss Sue!

Ms Sue loved and was dearly loved by many. The choir ministry of HGBC was especially blessed by her selfless giving of time, help, and love. She spent countless hours assisting with the choral library, helping the staff and, of course, making sure the choir was organized and ready to sing for each service and special event. Ms Sue was fiercely dependable and she loved to help! I was blessed to know and call her my friend.

Ms Sue will be greatly missed but, I am confident, she is now joyfully singing in the Presence of her Lord Jesus and helping to organize the heavenly choir to make sure everyone is in their proper place and ready to sing! 😊

Miss Sue loved us, encouraged us and prayed for us regularly. I miss that kind of consistent advocacy that goes before our Heavenly Father from my own mother who passed a little over a year ago. Now another one of my prayer warriors has gone home. After her first stroke, when I visited her at Aldersgate where l was training to become a volunteer at the time, she shared with me how she walked the floor and visited other patients to encourage them and give them hugs. She said that many of the residents there never receive visitors and were missing out on the simple joy of receiving a hug from someone. She never wanted anyone to feel unloved so she freely spread her love to others. What an example she was! I will miss you till I see you in glory, Miss Sue. 💕
