Wayne welcomed me to Charlotte 26 years ago when he was nearing retirement from Walsworth. He trained me and treated me with true southern grace. When my son was born 10 weeks early, Wayne came out of retirement to help me by taking care of my schools. I had lost touch with Wayne over the years, but he was a very special person and made an impact on my life. He was on my mind today, as I drove by where his old office used to be, so I searched for him and just learned of his passing. I’m so sorry for your loss.
