Ruth D. Cunningham

Ruth Deese Cunningham, 81, of Indian Trail, passed away on April 17, 2012 at Lake Park Nursing Home. Ms. Cunningham was born on May 24, 1930 in Union County, daughter of Raymond and Carrie Deese. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Ruth attended Calvary United Methodist Church in Charlotte where her husband was choir director.

Ruth was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Windell Cunningham; her parents, 10 of her siblings and her grandson, Nathan Miller.

She is survived by her children; Pat (Paul Rybos) Cunningham, Denise Cunningham, Tracey (Oscar Dieguez) Cunningham and David Cunningham, her grandchildren; Jonathan and Joseph Cunningham and Javier and Isabella Dieguez, as well as her sister, Lucille Martin.

Family will receive friends, Friday, April 20, 2012 from 5:30 – 7:30pm at McEwen Mint Hill Chapel 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Rd. Charlotte, NC 28227. Private interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
