I remember Sharyn from attending the same high school and being friends there. She was sweet, beautiful, and bright. I am so saddened to hear of her loss. A shining light has truly been extinguished, but the love she gave to others, and the example she set in her faith will live on forever. She is with God, in the arms of angels, where all who were angels on earth go. My love, prayers, and blessings to her family and friends.

I met Sharyn in 1998 when she was hired as the accompanist/choir director at St. Thomas Aquinas. She identified a small group of us musicians and invited us to form a contemporary worship band for the Sunday evening mass. I will forever be grateful to Sharyn for introducing me to this type of worship and service to our Lord.

In addition, Sharyn and her family, Jamie and Deanna, became friends with my (growing) family. I remember several instances where Sharyn and either Jamie or Deanna (or both) volunteered to babysit our daughter and twin boys so my wife and I could enjoy a quiet dinner out. Sharyn was a true friend and had a true servants heart and instilled those values in her children.

Sharyn will be missed. Rest in peace.

"My pastor always says our lives are streams flowing into the same river towards whatever heaven lies in the mist beyond the falls. Find the joy in your life,. my dear friends, close your eyes and let the waters take you home." Sharyn was my friend, a true friend and she lived her life the way that exuded beauty inside and out and in the sight of God. Her legacy will shine over her children, grandchildren, family and all she touched in her short but well lived life. Find comfort in that family. She will always be just a breath away in a time and place of quiet and music that made her heart swell.

Sharyn was a friend and precious member of our Thursday night small group. She always had a word of encouragement, wisdom, a faithful prayer warrior and lots of love to share. She made a difference in all of our lives. We will miss you, dear friend.
God’s love peace and comfort for all!

So sorry I can not attend the services. I have many fond memories of sleepovers, riding the train to Greenville, reading the Bible with Jettie, and entertaining Helen and Max. I am just heart-sick to hear this news. My love to Ollie, Tommy, Deanna, Jamie, and the rest of the family.
